TEMBO's Online Auction
Each year, TEMBO hosts an online auction to support women and girls in northern Tanzania. This event is normally held in the fall and offers participants an opportunity to purchase goods and services donated by businesses and individuals from across Canada. In October 2025, TEMBO hosted an online auction and raised more than $21,000 in just 7 days.
Coming This Year
Our 2026 Auction will be live on October 16th for viewing with bidding open until October 24th. Join in the fun and bid on unique items from individuals and businesses across Canada — a little shopping to create a world of change! TEMBO 500 Challenge 2025
On June 1st, our five riders cycled 100km in celebration of the 500 girls TEMBO has supported in secondary school. Thanks to the contributions of our generous donors, we have raised $15,119 in support of the next 500.
Village to Village Walk 2023
Every day, women and girls in Longido walk long distances to complete everyday tasks: walking to collect water, walking to the market or walking to school. Join a 7-day virtual walk, cycle or run through 7 villages in Longido District.
TEMBO Serengeti Challenge 2022
From May 8 – 17th, 2022, individuals and teams completed a virtual walk, run or bike across the Serengeti, one of the Africa’s most famous national parks in support of women and girls in northern Tanzania.

TEMBO Canada gratefully acknowledges the 80+ participants who cycled, ran or walked during the 10-day Serengeti Challenge (May 1-10, 2021). Together, they raised $29,461 for women and girls in northern Tanzania
